Final weekend, we met my ets. Or something like that like that. Meet Yer Eats was a farm trip time sponsored by Relay (a local grocery that is online) and marketplace Central. The idea would be to get eaters city slickers out on the farms to pet animals, stomp around in p , test honeys, cheeses, vegetables, and to talk to the farmers who actually develop the meals. I happened to be in hog heaven.
I went with my buddy Liz, who generously drove us about one hour south to Nelson County to the farm that is first Hill.
Hungry Hill Farm
Hungry Hill was all about honey manufacturing, however they also grow shiitake mushr ms and some veggies.
